LIFE
LIFE (Living Is For Everyone) provides the best available evidence and resources to guide activities aimed at reducing the rate at which people take their lives in Australia, the LIFE website is designed for people across the community who are involved in suicide and self-harm prevention activities.
Suicide Prevention Australia
Non-profit, non-government organisation working as a pubic health advocate in suicide prevention. SPA (Suicide Prevention Australia) is active in suicide prevention throughout Australia promoting:
  • Community awareness and advocacy
  • Collaboration and partnerships between communities, practitioners, research and industry
  • Information access and sharing
  • Local, regional and national forums, conferences and events
South Australian Draft Suicide Prevention Strategy
The draft of the South Australian Suicide Prevention Strategy is available online at www.sahealth.sa.gov.au and is open for public consultation until the end of February.
SQUARE Training
Relationships Australia South Australia offer a free educational program designed to help community-based service providers, primary health care and specialist health workers respond appropriately and effectively with people who are at risk of suicide.

Anglicare Loss and Grief Centre
Work with the loss and grief associated with:
  • Death of partners, family members or friends
  • Bereavement through suicide
  • Separation and divorce
  • Children leaving home
  • Loss of health
  • Living with disability
  • Financial loss
  • Migration
  • Fleeing one’s country as a refugee
  • Adoption and foster care
  • Trauma
  • Natural disasters (e.g., bushfires, floods)
Bereaved Through Suicide Support Group
An Adelaide support group, developed by the bereaved to help the bereaved.
Services include:
  • Volunteer telephone support (South Australian calls only) 8332 8240. Calls are diverted to a mobile and answered as soon as possible. If no answer please leave a message for call back within 48 hours (if urgent or interstate please call Lifeline on 13 11 14)
  • Support group meeting on the third Wednesday of every month at 7pm - 9pm

DrugWatch.com
Aims to educate the public about drug recalls and the side effects associated with thousands of different drugs, including mental health medications. DrugWatch.com provides extensive information about medications prescribed to treat various mental disorders as well as precautions patients should take before beginning treatment with these medications.
